How to Use Facebook Groups Without Starting in Home

Reviewed 2026-11-07

Choose the group or listing you need first. A focused route is different from guaranteeing that Home and Reels disappear.

Start with the native options

  1. Keep a bookmark to the group you use rather than opening an open-ended session.
  2. Review Feeds options if you want updates from groups you chose.
  3. For Marketplace, decide the item and location before browsing.
  4. Recheck where shortcuts lead after an interface update.

Know the limits

Meta describes Feeds as a destination for recent posts from friends, Favorites, Pages and groups. This does not guarantee all recommendations or Reels are removed. Marketplace and messages need separate compatibility checks.

Use a filtered browser

Loopbye hides selected feed entry points inside official mobile websites on your device. Choose the platform, review its filters, and test the messages, search or subscriptions you actually need. Optional iOS Hard Mode adds a shield over native apps you select.

Will all Facebook features work in a filtered browser?
