Start with the native options
- On reddit.com, open preferences and switch off Show recommendations in home feed.
- On iOS or Android, check account settings, then Privacy, for that recommendation switch.
- Keep direct bookmarks to communities or threads you want to read.
- Use those bookmarks for a particular question rather than starting in broad discovery.
Know the limits
Reddit’s documented switch controls Home recommendations. It does not claim to remove every discovery destination. Popular and All are separate targets for an interface filter.
